Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. is seeking a remote, contract-based health coach to lead live video coaching sessions and asynchronous messaging for cardiovascular and metabolic health programs.

You will interpret wearable data, craft adaptive plans, and maintain proactive member engagement across high-frequency communications. Candidates should hold NBC-HWC and CPT credentials, have at least one year of virtual coaching experience, and be comfortable working evenings/weekends in a fast-growing startup

Qualifications

• Professional coaching credential: NBC-HWC (or exam-enrolled)
• Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video + async messaging
• Skill in managing a caseload and maintaining proactive engagement
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data
• Evening and weekend availability, plus select daytime blocks
• High empathy paired with structured accountability
• Comfort with fast-moving, evolving startup environments

Responsibilities

• Lead live one-on-one video coaching sessions blending behavior change with movement, sleep and nutrition support.
• Maintain structured, proactive communication via in-app messaging and timely nudges.
• Build relationships that scale with video, text, and voice notes; maintain momentum.
• Interpret wearable/biometric data and translate into coaching insights.
• Co-create SMART plans; update plans based on real-time data and feedback.
• Demonstrate movements on camera; provide modifications for injuries or constraints.
• Identify red flags and route members to clinicians as needed.
• Share insights with product/content/ops teams to refine flows and nudges.
• Keep notes and track outcomes for dashboards and direction.
