Job summary

Ucardia is seeking a qualified coach to deliver live video sessions and asynchronous support, focused on cardiovascular and metabolic health. You will interpret wearable data, adapt plans in real time, and maintain proactive engagement with members.

The role involves co-creating SMART plans, guiding behavior change, and collaborating with clinical specialists. This is a 1099 contractor position based in Dallas, TX with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential or exam-enrolled.
• Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video and asynchronous messaging.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain proactive engagement.
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data.
• Evening and weekend availability, plus select daytime blocks.
• High empathy paired with structured accountability.
• Comfort with fast-moving, evolving startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one video coaching sessions blending behavior change guidance with movement, stress, sleep, and nutrition support.
• Maintain structured, proactive asynchronous messaging with timely nudges based on device alerts or trends.
• Build relationships that feel personal and supportive—even at scale with video, text, and voice notes.
• Interpret wearable and biometric signals and translate into personalized coaching insights.
• Co-create fitness, nutrition, stress, and sleep strategies rooted in SMART goals.
• Demonstrate movements live on camera and correct form with tact and clarity.
• Identify red flags and route members to clinicians or exercise professionals when needed.
• Share patterns and insights with product/content teams to refine coaching flows.
• Keep thoughtful notes and track key outcomes for dashboards and direction.
