Job summary

Ohio Digital Learning School, a Stride K12 partner, seeks an Intervention Specialist to support at-risk high school students in a fully remote role with occasional travel for PD and testing. The Interventionist will adapt the K12 curriculum, collaborate with general education teachers, educate families, and implement MTSS to drive student growth.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and Ohio licensure, plus 1 year classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year classroom experience or equivalent
• Experience with MTSS and data collection
• Ohio state licensure required

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt K12 curriculum to state standards for individual students
• Collaborate with general education teachers for targeted student goals
• Educate families on instructional strategies
• Implement MTSS to raise student achievement
• Collect and maintain MTSS data for planning and progress monitoring
• Support school administrators and staff on MTSS issues
• Coordinate Tier 3 interventions with district personnel
• Provide ongoing MTSS training and support to staff
