Job summary

Ohio Connections Academy seeks a certified ELL Teacher to support K-12 students in a fully virtual, home-based learning environment in Ohio. You will administer WIDA screenings, coordinate with learning coaches, and deliver targeted language instruction using online tools, while maintaining records and communicating regularly with families and school leaders.

Qualifications

• Highly qualified and certified to teach ELL in Ohio.
• Experience directly teaching English Language Learners.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, administer, and score WIDA Screener and WIDA ACCESS.
• Assist with state testing and professional development as directed.
• Provide small-group English language support within virtual classrooms.
• Develop Personal Learning Plans and monitor student progress with families.
• Communicate regularly with learning coaches, students, and teachers.
