Job summary

Concierge Home Care seeks a Virtual Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver skilled therapy from home to clients in Florida. You will work under an Occupational Therapist, focusing on helping patients regain independence and perform daily activities safely.

Qualifications

Position: Virtual Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Remote (Florida Residents only)

Schedule: Weekdays

Compensation: $24.00 – $25.75 per hour

Your Role as a Virtual Home Health COTA

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will provide skilled virtual therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your care will empower patients to regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Care: Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• ADL Support: Assist patients with improving activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Education: Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive technology, and environmental safety strategies.
• Clinical Monitoring: Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and report clinical changes promptly to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certification & Licensing: Active COTA credential and an unencumbered Florida COTA license.
• Certifications: Current CPR certification.
• Experience: Prior home health or triage experience is preferred.
