Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Virtual Construction Intern to gain hands-on experience on real projects during a 3-month summer term.

You will build virtual models from plans under direct supervision and collaborate with the project team on site logistics. Eligible students pursuing construction management, engineering, or technology, full-time May–August, must be able to relocate temporarily and have work eligibility in the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as construction management, construction engineering, or construction technology.
• Willing to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August.
• Able to temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older with a valid Driver’s License.
• Employment contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.

Responsibilities

• Builds virtual models from plans, specifications and elevations with direct supervision.
• Collaborates with the project team on the development of construction site logistics models.
• Assists with model updates.
• Supports the project team in the creation and processing of RFIs.
• Promotes the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.
• Shares new technologies with project teams and seeks to drive adoption of PCL technologies through operational processes.
• Potential research and development opportunities.
• Other duties as required.
