Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. is seeking a highly motivated VDC Manager to support a national data center business unit. This role leverages advanced 3D modeling, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver complex projects.

You will guide VDC processes, manage staff and budgets with estimating, and collaborate between design and construction teams to optimize scopes. PCL offers employee ownership, bonuses, and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent in AEC-related field.
• 8–10 years of construction experience including 4–5 years of VDC experience.
• Ability to translate 2D drawings into 3D/BIM models.
• Strong understanding of construction sequences and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure multidiscipline models and standards are current.
• Manage district-level resource allocation and process improvement.
• Coordinate staffing and budgets with estimating for pursuits.
• Support digital workflows setup and best practices.
• Coordinate trade detailing and design deliverables.
• Liaise between design and construction teams.
• Assist in scoping and proposing VDC tools for projects.
• Contribute to design deliverables scoping and material development.
• Participate in pursuit and proposal material development.
