PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, invites you to join as a Human Resources Intern.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across recruitment, diversity, training, wellness, and HR projects while supporting administrative functions and collaborating with the HR team. Qualifications

• A desire to pursue a career in Human Resources working in the construction industry.
• Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in an office environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and stated objectives while managing shifting priorities.
• Detail oriented and thorough.
• Works well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; PCL will not sponsor an employment visa.
• Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.

Responsibilities

• Get exposure to the various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, workforce diversity, training, professional development, health & wellness, and HR special projects and general administrative functions
• Assist with research, coordination and administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives
• Support the implementation of corporate and regional initiatives
• Assist the HR team with planning and executing Denver District initiatives
• Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation
• Undertake research projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned

The estimated salary range for this role is$22 - $28 an hour,based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
