Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. seeks a Virtual Construction Intern for our Denver district to contribute to the team for three months. You will build virtual models from plans under direct supervision and collaborate on site logistics models, gaining hands-on experience with real projects.

We offer mentorship, opportunities to learn PCL technologies, and pathways to full-time roles. Monthly stipends and weekly pay are part of the program, with a strong emphasis on learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a construction-related degree (e.g., CM, CE, or construction tech).
• Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry.
• Available to work in Denver, CO, May–August.

Responsibilities

• Builds virtual models from plans, specifications and elevations with direct supervision.
• Collaborates with the project team on the development of construction site logistics models.
• Assists with model updates.
• Supports the project team in the creation and processing of RFIs.
• Promotes the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.
• Shares new technologies with project teams and drives adoption of PCL technologies.
• Potential research and development opportunities.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as construction management, construction engineering, or construction technology.
• A desire to pursue a career in the construction industry
• Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August
• Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s License
• Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party

The salary range for this position is between $22 and $28 an hour, based on experience and qualifications.
