Framework IT in Chicago, IL is seeking a Strategic Technology Advisor (Virtual CIO) to guide a portfolio of MSP clients from the executive level. You’ll blend fractional CIO leadership with strategic account management, building roadmaps, budgets, security strategies, and measurable business outcomes.

You’ll work in a hybrid/remote setting, partnering with C-suite leaders to ensure client success, retention and profitability while mentoring junior staff and shaping vCIO playbooks and standard

Qualifications

5–7+ years in IT with client-facing vCIO/strategic account mgmt.
Proven ability to translate IT concepts into business outcomes.
Strong KPI-driven mindset and vendor negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as strategic partner for a portfolio of ~25 MSP clients.
Lead technology roadmaps, budgets, and security strategies.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with C-suite stakeholders.
Mentor junior team members and shape vCIO playbooks.
