Job summary

Teladoc Health, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support high-quality virtual care for members and clinical teams.

The role includes administrative duties, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR system for efficient telehealth visits. Required are a high school diploma (2+ years college preferred), 2+ years MA experience, active MA certification, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2+ years of college preferred.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification preferred/required
• 2+ years Medical Assistant experience
• EHR experience preferred
• Video conferencing experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft software and data entry
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and in a high-performing team

Responsibilities

• Review intake records for completeness
• Transfer information to the EHR system
• Schedule appointments
• Assess video readiness for virtual visits
• Communicate with health care team members and members
• Maintain health information in compliance with regulations
• Other duties as assigned
• Take full medical history including medications
• Document biometric screenings
• Identify preventative measures needed
• Prepare EHR charts prior to visits
• Assist nursing staff in preparing care plans
• Other duties as assigned
