California Virtual Academies is seeking an Attendance Advocate to support students and families in maintaining attendance compliance within our online charter program. The role focuses on high-touch educational support and superior customer service to ensure a positive experience for families.

The position is virtual, with regular communication to teachers and administrators, and requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Training and onsite meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned student caseload to improve attendance compliance.
• Monitor daily attendance and communicate with families and administration.
• Support Strong Start programs and onboarding activities.
• Maintain detailed documentation for each student.
