Job summary

California Virtual Academies seeks a High School Teacher- Health to deliver standards-based online instruction to CA students. You will manage homeroom relations, provide targeted instruction, and assess progress with timely feedback.

Responsibilities include proctoring state tests, coordinating with families, and maintaining documentation. Requires a CA single subject credential in Health Science and CAL English Learner Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Orient students to courses and requirements; communicate via email/phone/classroom.
• Support homeroom students with information, attendance, and progress.
• Provide small group and direct instruction on course content.
• Participate in instructional coaching and address coaching goals.
• Implement remediation, modification, and enrichment as needed.
• Set deadlines and manage IEPs; monitor progress and testing.
