Job summary

Compass Health Center, LLC is seeking a Virtual Adolescent Primary Clinical Therapist to provide individual therapy within our fully virtual PHP/IOP programs. The role supports patients across Illinois and other states, focusing on crisis intervention, treatment planning, and coordination with outpatient teams.

You will conduct intake evaluations, apply CBT/DBT, and navigate insurance needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clinical license (psychologist or master’s level therapist).
• Minimum 2 years of post-master’s clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with CBT and DBT; crisis care experience.
• Preference for Illinois or Minnesota residents with active license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and program fit.
• Deliver CBT/DBT and other evidence‑based therapies.
• Oversee initial and ongoing insurance needs for patients.
• Meet with patients individually to assess progress and guide treatment planning.
• Coordinate care with patients’ providers for continuity of care.
• Assess progress and determine need for higher level of care or discharge.
• Communicate with patient families as appropriate.
• Document in the EMR and maintain chart accuracy.
• Engage in crisis management and provide group therapy as needed.
