Job summary

Compass Health Center, Llc is seeking a Primary Therapist for the Over-18 Eating Disorders Program. You will conduct individual therapy, support meals and snacks, and coordinate with outpatient teams to implement comprehensive treatment plans.

You will collaborate with RDs, group/family therapists, and psychiatry to ensure high-quality care. The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions (CBT-E, ERP, DBT, ACT) and a strength-based, weight-inclusive approach within PHP/IOP in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed as a psychologist or licensed clinical social worker/professional (IL)
• Minimum 2+ years post-Master’s clinical experience in eating disorder treatment
• Experience treating OCD, anxiety, PTSD, or depression preferred
• Experience in PHP/IOP, residential, or inpatient settings preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake evaluations and determine diagnosis and program suitability
• Develop and update transdiagnostic treatment formulations across the course of care
• Deliver individual therapy using evidence-based approaches (CBT-E, ERP, DBT, ACT)
• Coordinate care with RDs, group therapists, family therapists, and prescribers
• Monitor medical status with nursing/prescribers and escalate as needed
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and supervision
