Job summary

Compass Health Center in Illinois seeks a group therapist to lead evidence-based groups (CBT/DBT/ACT) in our fully virtual PHP/IOP program servingclients statewide.

You’ll run groups, develop treatment plans, handle crises, document in EMR, and collaborate with the treatment team. A Master’s level clinician with an IL license (provisional or independent) is required, with experience in partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s level psychologist or licensed therapist with IL provisional or independent license.
• Experience delivering evidenced-based group therapy using CBT/DBT/ACT.
• Familiar with crisis management and treatment planning.
• Experience in PHP/IOP settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group therapy in a safe therapeutic milieu.
• Develop therapeutic group relationships to promote change.
• Utilize CBT and DBT and other evidence-based therapies.
• Relay clinical information during rounds and to the treatment team.
• Develop program materials and adjust content to group needs.
• Engage in crisis management as needed.
• Create and update treatment plans and chart in EMR.
• May meet with patients individually for case management.
