Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to provide scientific leadership and oversight across virology clinical trials. The role collaborates with RWLP management, business development, and operations to win opportunities and deliver proposals, protocols, and safety analyses.

The candidate will guide study designs, develop essential documents, and train teams on contemporary epidemiologic methods, upholding regulatory expectations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate).
• Knowledge of study designs; post-marketing and late phase study designs preferred.
• Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS/R/Python).
• Excellent written and spoken communication; strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provides scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees study start-up and ongoing management; develops key study documents and safety/advisory materials.
• Develops trainings on epidemiologic study designs and guidelines for RWLP/Company.
• Leads publications, abstracts, and presentations to promote services.
