Job summary

Syneos Health in Jackson, MS is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific oversight of virology clinical trials and to shape the epidemiology strategy across programs.

You will collaborate with RWLP management, development teams and sponsors, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and robust study designs, while advancing post‑marketing safety initiatives and publications.

Qualifications

• Must be SME in Virology clinical trials and related study designs.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health required.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research guidelines and post‑marketing concepts.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of virology projects and budgets.
• Partner with RWLP leadership to develop global proposals and defenses.
• Lead study start-up oversight and development of key documents.
• Support publications and scientific communications for sponsors.
