Job summary

United Property Associates in Virginia Beach is seeking an Association Manager to oversee multiple communities. You will ensure excellent service, enforce governing documents, and maintain strong resident and board relations.

Key responsibilities include contract adherence, vendor negotiations, budget preparation, and regular board communications. This on-site role requires a proactive, detail-minded professional with 2+ years in customer service or property management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and property management, retail, or hospitality management experience.
• Previous Association Management experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned properties by following the contracts in place for each community.
• Understand laws and governing documents pertaining to associations.
• Communicate with the board of directors monthly and prepare board packages.
• Communicate with, negotiate, and supervise vendors.
• Approve vendor payments per the management contract using AP software.
• Prepare and monitor budgets.
• Attend board of directors and committee meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in the management software.
