Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to oversee VIP and guest room cleanliness, train staff, and ensure daily shift execution on property in Orlando. The role emphasizes organization, guidance, and adherence to safety policies while maintaining a neat, well-groomed team environment.

The position involves daily room checks, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting room attendants to meet high standards. Full-time hours are typical in a 24/7 hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience is acceptable.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview and inspect VIP rooms and guest rooms for cleanliness and appearance.
• Train and monitor performance of room attendants and housepersons, and ensure shifts are completed.
• Keep carts and linen closets clean, neat, stocked, and organized per guidelines.
• Report maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors.
• Identify showrooms for Sales Department and assist where needed.
• Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures and rules.
