Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Supervisor in Orlando, FL to lead room attendants and housepersons, ensuring rooms and corridors meet cleanliness standards. You will mentor staff, monitor performance, and enforce safety policies on a fast-paced hotel floor.

Responsibilities include training staff, inspecting rooms, coordinating with departments, and maintaining inventory. A High School diploma and 6 months of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience is acceptable.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train room attendants and housepersons, providing instruction and guidance.
• Ensure all carts, linen and supply closets are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Report maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors.
• Expedite special guest requests and ensure timely service.
• Check rooms daily and ensure showrooms are prepared for Sales.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
