Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and ensure high cleanliness standards across VIP and guest areas.

Responsibilities include training staff, inspecting rooms, maintaining stocked carts and linen closets, and coordinating with maintenance and sales teams to meet guest needs while upholding safety and policies.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Interview and visually inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms and corridors for cleanliness and appearance.
• Train and monitor performance of room attendants and housepersons; provide guidance and ensure tasks are completed.
• Maintain organization and stocking of carts and linen/supply closets; ensure VIP supplies are in place.
• Report maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors.
• Expedite special guest requests (e.g., extra towels, blankets, pillows).
• Check all vacant/ready/stay over rooms daily and check out of order rooms daily.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures; follow fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Identify showrooms for Sales Department; assist other housekeeping personnel when needed.
