Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to oversee Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms and public spaces. The role ensures high cleanliness standards and efficient shift execution.

You will train staff, monitor performance, and enforce safety procedures while maintaining a safe, organized, and guest-ready environment across all areas of the property.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience is acceptable.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of subordinates.
• Ability to provide information and answer hotel guest and colleague questions.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Direct and assist staff, ensure completion of tasks within shift.
• Train and monitor performance, provide instruction and guidance.
• Ensure carts and linen closets are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and guest requests as needed.
