Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas seeks a Specialist - Venetian Rewards to handle guest inquiries at the Credit Desk and deliver outstanding service. You will sign up guests, reprint cards, issue slot credits and explain benefits in detail, while ensuring all policies are followed.

In this role you will coordinate with Venetian Rewards, casino hosts, VIP, and Hotel Operations to match play, link accounts to reservations, and assist with reservations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and related certifications.
• 2+ years of experience in a front-of-line position or related role.
• Strong computer skills, including casino/hotel systems and MS Office knowledge, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sign up guests at the Credit desk and explain benefits of Venetian Rewards.
• Print or reprint cards, issue slot credits/match play redemptions.
• Assist guests with hotel reservations and revising bookings.
• Evaluate guest play and issue comps appropriately.
• Coordinate with Venetian Rewards, casino hosts, VIP, and Hotel Operations.
• Link Venetian Rewards accounts to hotel reservations for Status points.
• Merge accounts; set up and re-set account PINs.
• Upgrade/downgrade accounts and log changes.
• Print Win/Loss statements for guests.
• Maintain neat, organized counters and office; respond to emails and calls.
• Adhere to safety and attendance requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
