Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Representative – Special Events to provide support to the Special Events Department as needed. You will assist with event-related tasks, greet guests, and help maintain inventory and coordination during events.

This role emphasizes professionalism, guest service, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced resort environment in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• 6+ months of experience in Special Events or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service in a similar resort setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for overall department needs.
• Assist with event-related tasks and projects.
• Exhibit professionalism and assist casino guests as needed.
• Serve as a greeter, wayfinder, usher, and/or ticket taker for various special events
• Assist in organizing and maintaining Special Events inventory in Special Events storage facility.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about casino events and promotions.
• Safety is an essential function of this job.
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
