Job summary

SAHARA Las Vegas is seeking a courteous Reservations Associate to handle hotel and guest inquiries, manage reservation requests, and support casino hosts. You will work in a high-volume environment, maintain brand standards, and accurately input data into the Hotel PMS to ensure smooth guest experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, and 1–2 years of hotel reservation experience; a Nevada gaming license is required before starting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a hotel/hospitality high-volume reservation call center.
• Professional demeanor and attire maintained at all times.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience motivating and maintaining relationships across staff and leadership.
• Gaming or hospitality experience is desirable.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook preferred.
• Nevada Gaming License is required before entering the position.

Responsibilities

• Answers guest inquiries while maintaining knowledge of hotel services and attractions.
• Assist casino and transient guests with reservation requests including rooms, shows, dinners, limos and amenities.
• Read, evaluate casino play and hotel offers.
• Provide support to Casino Hosts, Loyalty Club, and VIP Check-In.
• Issue comps upon checkout based on casino play and comp criteria.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, procedures, and policies.
• Route call transfers to requested destinations.
• Monitor call productivity to meet guidelines.
• Input guest, room, and pertinent information into the Hotel PMS.
