Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Guest Relations host at our House of Blues venue in Anaheim. You will greet guests, seat parties, manage wait times, and relay information about menus and live events with a positive, welcoming attitude.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, maintaining a clean host area, and coordinating with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations. A High School Diploma and experience in guest services are preferred.

Qualifications

• State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement / Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
• High School Diploma
• Music Mall and Retail operations
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving
• Diplomacy, multitasking, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to seat guests in a high volume restaurant at a pace that maximizes efficiency of service and performance of overall operations
• Flexible Hours

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
• Control flow of guests entering and waiting for a table.
• Obtain guests' name, party size, and needs for children when applicable.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs.
• Direct guests to waiting areas and estimate wait times.
• Lead guests to tables and present menus.
• Answer questions about menu, venue, and events.
• Maintain host area cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate with kitchen and managers to ensure smooth service.
