Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment's House of Blues venues in Anaheim are seeking a server/barstaff to deliver food and beverages in a lively nightclub setting. You will take orders, serve drinks, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a CA Food Handlers Card, the ability to work late hours, and a flexible schedule. Training on cocktail trays, food service basics, responsible alcohol service, and POS systems is provided.

Qualifications

• CA Food Handlers Card is required.
• Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, POS systems.
• 3 years of experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms.
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs.
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items; take orders.
• Answer guest questions, make recommendations, up-sell liquors.
• Communicate drink orders to the bar through the POS system.
• Deliver drinks, maneuver trays through large crowds.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables and surrounding areas.
• Verify IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service per policy.
• Assist other staff as needed and support special events when scheduled.
