Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment’s House of Blues in Colorado is seeking a Guest Relations host to warmly welcome guests, manage seating flow, and ensure a memorable dining and event experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, collecting details, answering questions about the venue and shows, coordinating with kitchen and event staff, and promoting food, beverage, and merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe, and vibrant hospitality area.

Qualifications

• Appearance, punctuality/attendance, and attitude/teamwork.
• Opening and closing duties.
• Problem solving and guest service.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Control the flow of guests entering the restaurant and those waiting for a table.
• Collect guest details (name, party size, arrival time).
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Direct guests to appropriate waiting areas and estimate wait times.
• Lead guests to tables, place menus, and wait with them until seated.
• Promote current items and retail by sharing information with guests.
• Answer guest questions about the menu, venue, and performers.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain host area cleanliness and safety standards.
• Attend pre-shift briefing and follow SOPs.
