Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Chicago is seeking a VIP hospitality associate to sell Opera Boxes and upsell VIP experiences at House of Blues venues. You will engage with high-end guests, coordinate event details, and ensure exceptional service across events.

Ideal candidates have experience with VIP client relations, strong diplomacy, and flexible schedules to support shows and special events in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience selling to high-end, VIP clients.
• Strong diplomacy and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work across venues.

Responsibilities

• Sell Opera Boxes, bottle service and reserved stools in advance of every show.
• Be present at every show to upsell VIP inventory to concert patrons.
• Serve as a resource of information for VIP clients regarding their experience within the House of Blues venue.
• Provide assistance for VIP clients regarding the timing of their arrival and concert times.
• Coordinate operations on night of shows with Ops Director, servers and security.
• Build strong relationships with Foundation Room members and VIP clients.
• Maintain articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with current audience.
• Maintain exemplary and professional grooming standards.
• Occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
