Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a VIP guest services associate at the House of Blues. Be present at shows to upsell VIP inventory and assist VIP clients with arrival timing while maintaining professional appearance.

You will coordinate operations with events staff, build relationships with Foundation Room members, and ensure exceptional guest relations in a fast-paced, high-end venue environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in high-end restaurant operations, seating, guest relations and problem solving.
• Experience selling to VIP clients.
• Diplomacy, multitasking, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Must have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Upsell available VIP inventory at each show.
• Serve as a resource for VIP clients regarding their experience.
• Assist VIP clients with arrival timing and concert times.
• Acknowledge Foundation Members, Live Nation Executives and VIPs.
• Coordinate venue operations with Ops Director, servers and security.
• Build relationships with Foundation Room members and VIP clients.
• Maintain articulate vocabulary and adapt to the audience.
• Uphold grooming standards and professional appearance.
• Occasionally work Special Events scheduled at the venue.
