Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is looking for a hospitality/events role to support a variety of events in New York.

You will assist with pre-event planning, on-site setup, guest lists, hospitality, and post-event wrap-up, delivering memorable experiences for guests and partners. The ideal candidate has at least two years in hospitality or events, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining VIP service

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in hospitality or events.
• Detail oriented and self-sufficient with great interpersonal skills.
• Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts and handle customer situations in a timely and discreet manner befitting a VIP environment.
• Manage heavy volume of customer interaction and multi-task in a highly visible environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and transport/handle boxes containing event elements.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execution for a variety of events, including pre-event organization and set-up of elements.
• On-site assistance during events for ingress/egress, hospitality and activations; post-event wrap-up.
• Administrative tasks to support the department and team needs.
• Create positive and memorable guest experiences during sporting, entertainment, family and corporate events.
• Execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.
