Job summary
MMD Services Inc. in New York City seeks a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user hardware, software, and connectivity support in a fast-paced, financial services environment.
This onsite role requires proactive, customer-focused technical leadership and the ability to work with traders and executives. You will troubleshoot across Windows/macOS, Office apps, mobility solutions, and VPN/MDM tools, coordinate with IT teams and vendors, and document incidents for proactive problem
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant technical support experience in fast-paced environments.
- Experience supporting executives and traders with high availability needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, triage, diagnose, and resolve complex, time-sensitive issues with urgency.
- Provide white-glove, high-touch support to end users including traders and executives.
- Ensure zero downtime through rapid incident response and proactive monitoring.
- Escalate incidents and coordinate with IT teams and vendors for timely resolutions.
- Lead incident response and document issues to support proactive problem management.
