Job summary
MMD Services, a leading financial services client, seeks a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide high-touch IT support for end-users, including traders and senior executives. This onsite role in downtown New York requires strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking, with rapid incident response and proactive problem management.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and deep knowledge of Intune, Azure AD, VPN, and VDI/Citrix.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in technical support.
- Experience delivering white-glove support to senior leadership in high-availability environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and VPN technologies.
Responsibilities
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve time-sensitive technical issues.
- Provide high-touch support to traders and executives via tickets, email, phone.
- Maintain zero downtime through rapid incident response and monitoring.
- Escalate and coordinate with IT teams and vendors for resolution.
- Document incidents for proactive problem management.
