Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Tech-Advisor in Needham Heights, MA to deliver an exceptional customer experience and uphold VIP programs and standards. You will split duties between service writer and installation technician, ensuring accurate vehicle assessments and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires safety compliance, strong communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy service department. This is a full-time, hourly position based at our Needham Heights location.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE Certifications are recommended (P2, G1, A4) and State Inspection License where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority; follow safety policies and training.
• Assist at the counter as service writer when needed and educate customers on vehicle condition.
• Perform vehicle services in shop as technician per VIP standards.
• Complete required LMS and vendor trainings and obtain certifications.
• Maintain clear communication with team and management; participate in daily huddles.
• Deliver VIP processes for a better customer experience and higher productivity.
• Attend off-site trainings as required; support 5-for-5 customer education.
