Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a Finance Assistant Plant Controller for the Dexter, MO site as part of the VIE Finance Rotational Program. Over two years, you will gain hands-on experience in plant controlling and in program or R&D controlling for Faurecia Clean Mobility activities, guided by a sponsor to develop into a finance leader.

The first year is based in Dexter, with the second year location depending on global placements.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance.
First experience in controlling or significant apprenticeship in controlling.
Computer literate with good IT systems knowledge.
Solid accounting knowledge.
Strong teamwork.
Business partner mindset to support operational teams.
Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Interest in understanding manufacturing and operational processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance to all financial procedures.
Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization.
Ensure site activities comply with Faurecia finance procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, etc.).
Provide reliable financial / controlling information.
Participate in financial forecasting processes (budget, forecasts).
Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability and transparency.
Update information in the ERP system.
Ensure reliability of standard costing.
Contribute to controlling analyses (variance, margin, budget).
Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information.
Contribute to cash flow control and management (capex, inventories, overdue).
Support finance & plant team with administrative and financial tasks.
