Forvia invites you to join the VIE Finance Assistant Plant Controller program at Dexter, MO. In year one you will work as Finance Assistant Plant Controller, gaining hands-on experience in plant controlling.

The second year may be located at any Clean Mobility site worldwide. You will be supported by a dedicated sponsor and develop the skills to become a future finance business partner, with exposure to forecasting, budgeting and reporting in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• Experience in controlling or apprenticeship in a controlling role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems.
• Solid accounting knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Business partner mindset to support operational teams.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of manufacturing and operating processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls.
• Develop, implement and control internal finance processes including spending authorisations and inventory management.
• Maintain compliance with Faurecia finance procedures such as product flow, inventory and routing.
• Provide reliable financial and controlling information to support decision-making.
• Participate in financial forecasting, budgeting and periodic forecast processes.
• Collect, consolidate and report data to ensure reliability and deadlines.
• Update information in the ERP system.
• Ensure accuracy of standard costing.
• Contribute to variance analysis, standard-cost analysis and margin evaluation.
• Collaborate with the Shared Service Center to provide and obtain necessary finance information.
• Manage plant operating cash-flow, including capex, inventories and overdue receivables.
• Support the finance and plant teams with a range of administrative and financial tasks.

VIE Finance Assistant Plant Controller – Dexter, USA

Program Overview

During the first year you will work at the Dexter, MO plant as a Finance Assistant Plant Controller, where you will gain hands‑on experience in plant controlling. The second year may be located at any Clean Mobility site worldwide. Throughout the programme you will be supported by a dedicated sponsor and develop the skills needed to become a future finance business partner.

Location

Dexter, Missouri, USA (first year). Second year: any Clean Mobility location.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• First experience in controlling or significant apprenticeship experience in a controlling role, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Computer literate with strong knowledge of IT systems.
• Solid accounting knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Business partner mindset, able to support operational teams and influence decisions.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of manufacturing and operational processes.
• Fluent in English.

Compensation

Salary Range: 3,391.06 € per month.
