Job summary

Forvia in Kentucky is seeking a Shopfloor Logistics Supervisor to oversee the internal flow of parts from receipt to shipping. You will ensure on-time customer delivery, supply the production line, and maintain basic logistics practices on the shop floor.

You will lead a team, work closely with quality, production and engineering to keep the plant running smoothly and efficiently, and apply visual management to drive productivity gains.

Qualifications

You will ensure customer delivery, production line supplies, logistics basics, visual management, equipment and human resources, productivity gains, and team management. You will also work closely with other functions, such as quality, production, and engineering, to ensure the smooth and optimal operation of the plant.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial environment
• Automobile industry work experience, preferred

Skills and competencies:

• English language required - bi lingual (Spanish) a plus
• Knowledge of logistics tools and systems, such as MRP, FIFO, and MPM
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
