Job summary

Faurecia seeks an Assistant Plant Controller (VIE) for Dexter, USA to oversee plant finance procedures and reporting. You will develop and control internal processes, ensure costing reliability, and collaborate with the Shared Service Center to provide timely financial information.

The role requires a Master’s in Finance, strong accounting knowledge, and English fluency, with a preference for manufacturing exposure and process understanding. 12-month assignment, renewal possible.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • First controlling experience or apprenticeship in an industrial setting.
  • Strong IT literacy and ERP knowledge.
  • Solid accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with financial procedures.
  • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures per company policies.
  • Ensure site activities comply with Faurecia finance procedures.
  • Provide reliable financial and controlling information.
  • Participate in forecasts, budgeting and periodic forecasts.
  • Consolidate data and reporting with reliability and timeliness.
  • Update information in the ERP system.
  • Ensure reliability of standard costing.
  • Contribute to variance analyses and plant budget control.
  • Collaborate with Shared Service Center for finance information.
  • Support cash flow management including capex, inventories.
  • Assist finance and plant team with admin tasks.

Job description

Position

Assistant Plant Controller (VIE) – Dexter, USA (Plant Controlling).

Duration

12 months, renewable for another 12 months.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance to all financial procedures.
  • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, etc.) and internal control basics.
  • Provide reliable financial and controlling information.
  • Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget and periodic forecast.
  • Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and compliance with reporting deadlines.
  • Update information into the ERP System.
  • Ensure reliability of standard costing.
  • Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis, standard costs, margin/programs, and plant budgetary control.
  • Collaborate with the Shared Service Center to obtain and provide proper finance information.
  • Contribute to the control and management of the plant’s operating cash flow (capex, inventories, overdues).
  • Support the finance and plant team with a range of administrative and financial tasks.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Finance.
  • First experience in controlling, or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of IT systems.
  • Solid accounting knowledge.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Business partner mindset (ability to support operational teams and influence decisions).
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in understanding manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Fluent in English.

Compensation

Salary Range: EUR 3 391,06 €.
