Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a Finance Assistant Plant Controller for the Dexter, MO site as part of the VIE Finance Rotational Program. Over two years, you will gain hands-on experience in plant controlling and in program or R&D controlling for Faurecia Clean Mobility activities, guided by a sponsor to develop into a finance leader.

The first year is based in Dexter, with the second year location depending on global placements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• First experience in controlling or significant apprenticeship in controlling.
• Computer literate with good IT systems knowledge.
• Solid accounting knowledge.
• Strong teamwork.
• Business partner mindset to support operational teams.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Interest in understanding manufacturing and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all financial procedures.
• Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization.
• Ensure site activities comply with Faurecia finance procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, etc.).
• Provide reliable financial / controlling information.
• Participate in financial forecasting processes (budget, forecasts).
• Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability and transparency.
• Update information in the ERP system.
• Ensure reliability of standard costing.
• Contribute to controlling analyses (variance, margin, budget).
• Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information.
• Contribute to cash flow control and management (capex, inventories, overdue).
• Support finance & plant team with administrative and financial tasks.

Over two years, you will gain hands‑on experience in two key finance functions at the heart of our manufacturing business: one year in Plant Controlling and one year in Program or R&D Controlling for our Faurecia Clean Mobility activity. What is your role and surroundings?

Our Faurecia FCM Business Group is looking for you as an Assistant Plant Controller VIE for our site in Dexter, USA.

What will be your main missions?

The VIE Finance Assistant Plant Controller is involved in the controlling of a plant in order to guarantee and optimise the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.

The main missions of the role are to:

• Ensure compliance to all financial procedures
• Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with company procedures and policies
• Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …)and internal control basics
• Provide reliable financial / controlling informations
• Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, …
• Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance,
• Update informations into the ERP System,
• Ensure reliability of standard costing,
• Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control …,
• Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information,
• Contribute to the control and management of the plant’s operating cashflow (capex, inventories,overdues).
• Supporting finance & Plant team with a range of administrative and financial tasks.

The mission will last 12 months, renewed for another 12 months.
