Job summary

The Minnesota Daily is looking for student videographers who enjoy fast-paced environments and who are ready to tell visual stories about the University of Minnesota community. You’ll shoot and collaborate with the producer to edit videos, work with reporters to create media that emphasizes their story, and pitch your own video story ideas.

Must be a University of Minnesota student with knowledge of video editing and a strong work ethic.

• Must demonstrate knowledge of video editing.
• Respect for deadlines and should demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic & self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and collaborate with the producer to edit videos.
• Work with reporters to create media that best emphasizes their story.
• Pitch their own video story ideas.
• Effectively communicate with video producer and sources.
