Axon in Scottsdale seeks a Video Electrical Engineer for sustaining high‑density embedded electronics used in body‑worn and vehicle camera systems. You will update designs, perform bench verification, debug, and drive improvements across the post‑launch lifecycle in collaboration with global teams.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years in electronics design, with a strong foundation in analog/digital circuits, RF, and regulatory testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years in electronics design or sustaining engineering for mass‑produced embedded devices.
• Experience with alternate-source components and BOM/PCB updates.
• Strong analog/digital circuit design foundation; RF, USB, Ethernet experience helpful.
• Hands‑on lab, debugging, failure analysis, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Update in-market circuit designs to address obsolescence and post‑launch improvements.
• Own electronics sustainment across post‑launch product lifecycle with cross‑functional teams.
• Perform bench verification and testing using standard lab equipment.
• Document design changes, results, and conclusions for teams and management.
• Provide hardware support to regulatory teams (FCC/CE/PTCRB).
