Job summary

Axon is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join the Video Electrical Engineering team. You will own the detailed design, bring-up, validation, and debug of mixed-signal hardware for next-generation video products, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver robust hardware.

You will develop embedded circuits, create schematics in Cadence/OrCAD, work with PCB engineers on layouts, bring up circuits in the lab, analyze test data, and drive improvements to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years of industry experience designing embedded electronics.
• Demonstrated experience owning and delivering hardware circuits within complex embedded products.
• Hands-on experience with embedded mixed-signals hardware design and lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality embedded circuits for Axon's video products.
• Own detailed design and implementation of mixed-signal hardware blocks with senior engineers.
• Create embedded schematics in Cadence/OrCAD.
• Bring up, characterize, debug circuits in the lab with test equipment.
• Analyze test data and drive corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.
• Support design reviews and maintain design documentation.
