Job summary

Axon is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to own the hardware architecture for next-generation video hardware. You will lead end-to-end technical execution from concept through mass production, while actively engaging in design, validation, and issue resolution.

You will collaborate with firmware, RF, mechanical, and supply chain teams, drive architectural tradeoffs, and mentor engineers to deliver high-performance, power-efficient hardware for critical safety applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electronics design for battery-powered embedded products.
• Experience as technical owner or electrical lead for complex hardware.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware architecture and SoC integration strategies.
• Lead development and integration of embedded hardware across components.
• Hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and lab characterization.
• Provide technical direction to internal and external teams and ensure milestone alignment.
