Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with bank transactions via Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) and other support channels. You will handle deposits, payments, loan inquiries and account maintenance, delivering friendly, secure and efficient service on camera and over the phone.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, multi-tasking ability and a collaborative spirit, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience in banking preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a team-based environment and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions via ITM video, including deposits, payments, check cashing and withdrawals.
• Provide professional, courteous service and verify transaction validity.
• Balance at end of day and resolve errors per policy.
• Maintain broad knowledge of bank products and services.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments to meet needs and goals.
• Support security, compliance and confidentiality in all interactions.
