Job summary

Axon Enterprise is seeking an accomplished Electronics Hardware Engineer to research, design, and verify advanced circuit designs for robotics products. Lead hardware development from concept through mass production, collaborating with FPGA/firmware teams and suppliers to select optimal parts and ensure EMI/ESD protection.

You will design rugged PCBs using Cadence/OrCAD or Allegro, develop test plans, and bring up systems with lab instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of electronics design experience in densely packed, high-speed embedded systems.
• Lead hardware design from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and develop circuit boards for Axon Robotics products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to select parts.
• Create test plans and characterize boards and assemblies.
• Bring up, debug, and validate systems with lab tools.
• Develop assembly drawings and BOMs for product releases.
• Define test requirements for production testers and fixtures.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge across the group.
