7 17 Credit Union is seeking a Video Banking Specialist to deliver a high-quality virtual banking experience via video and live chat. You will serve as a single point of contact for members, handling account services, lending needs, remote banking support and financial solutions.

The ideal candidate is service-driven, tech-savvy, and focused on building strong member relationships with consultative guidance and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, banking, financial services, retail sales, or contact center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable learning and using video banking technology, online systems, and other digital tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive member information.
• Experience with deposit accounts, consumer lending, or financial products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members via video banking and live chat in a professional, friendly manner.
• Educate members on video banking, digital services, and remote banking solutions.
• Process account maintenance requests and non-monetary transactions with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist members with services such as debit card issuance, mobile and remote banking setup, direct deposit, ACH, and more.
• Open and service retail deposit accounts including checking, savings, money market, certificates, IRA, HSA, custodial, and specialty accounts.
• Accept, process, and assist with consumer loan applications including auto, personal, credit cards, home equity, and secured loans.
• Conduct loan closings, disbursements, and follow-up activities.
• Perform needs-based conversations to identify opportunities that support members' financial goals.
