Job summary

BNP Paribas RCC, Inc. is seeking a Subject Matter Support Engineer for Voice and Video environments in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves administration, monitoring, testing, and implementing infrastructure changes with a focus on SIP/VoIP and Cisco video endpoints.

You will provide regional Level 2/3 support across the Americas, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate escalation with vendors and Cisco TAC. A CCNP Collaboration certification and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or US/foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in SIP/VoIP, Cisco CUCM/UCCX, Cisco Expressways, VCS/Expressway, and Oracle SBC/ECB.
• Experience with network infrastructure (routers/switches/firewalls, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• CCNP Collaboration certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 regional support for SIP/VoIP and video environments across the Americas.
• Administer, monitor, test, and implement infrastructure changes; respond to incidents and escalations.
• Coordinate with Cisco TAC and vendors; ensure SLAs and internal controls.

Overview

BNP Paribas RCC, Inc.

Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Suite 600, Jersey City, NJ 07310

Duties: Act as a Subject Matter Support Engineer for the Voice and Video environment, including CUCM, CUC, UCCX, IOS Voice Gateways, Oracle SBC, ECB, EOM, and VCS/Expressway servers, focusing on administration, monitoring, technical support, testing, and infrastructure changes. Provide regional support across the Americas for IPC Unigy turret systems and AV room technologies, delivering Level 2/3 operational support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Manage infrastructure health, perform business readiness and system checks, and collaborate on complex cross-platform issues, including escalation to Cisco TAC. Implement enhancements, resolve obsolescence risks, and drive EOL remediation. Ensure adherence to internal controls, SLAs, and procedures while partnering with vendors and promoting global collaboration, alignment, and knowledge sharing.

Compensation & Benefits

SALARY: $145,000.00 USD – $200,000.00 USD / year. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.

Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s / US or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressive experience in offered or related role. Must have five (5) years of experience in the following: SIP protocol and VoIP telephony; Cisco Call manager, version 14 and above, to maintain Voice infrastructure; Cisco Unity Connection and UCCX (including scripting) to operate and maintain IVR and Hotlines; Cisco Mobile Remote Access (MRA) Expressways -E and C to operate and maintain Jabber softphones; Cisco Video servers (VCS and Expressway) and Cisco Video endpoints for video infrastructure support; Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC) and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker (ECB) to operate and maintain external and Internal calling; Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor (EOM) to monitor the health of Oracle SBC and ECB; Cisco Routers, Switches, VOIP and Firewalls, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN, MAN, and WAN; VMware (all Cisco infrastructure is virtualized); Microsoft Windows server and productivity tools to support voice tools; and Microsoft Excel (Graphs, VLOOKUP, and Pivot tables). Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration certificate required.
