Responsibilities

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Voice Engineer III to lead the strategy, architecture, engineering, and operational support of a large-scale enterprise Voice environment supporting headquarters, hundreds of retail locations, and continued business expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Voice professional who enjoys combining architecture, hands‑on engineering, troubleshooting, mentoring, and strategic technology leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Voice platform strategy, architecture, standards, and technology roadmap.
• Design highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise Voice solutions.
• Engineer and support Webex Calling, VoIP/SIP, Webex Contact Center, soft phones, hard phones, and voice gateways.
• Perform advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for complex escalations and major outages.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long‑term corrective solutions.
• Partner with infrastructure, applications, data, and business teams on integrated solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for critical production issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or 7+ years of progressive enterprise Voice experience.
• Deep expertise with Webex Calling, SIP/VoIP, and Webex Contact Center environments.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, IP, NAT, TCP/UDP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience designing and implementing complex multi‑site Voice and Contact Center solutions.
• CCNP Collaboration or comparable professional certification preferred.
• Python, Ansible, or other automation/scripting experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
