Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Senior Lead Voice Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure, including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCE, UCCX, and SBCs, across campus IT networks. The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of VoIP/UC experience, CCNA Voice/CCNP Collaboration, ITIL, and a strong command of QoS, SIP, and packet analysis using Wireshark and SolarWinds.

This on-site role requires strong English communication and ability to support 24/6

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in VoIP/UC engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or telecommunications field.
• CCNA Voice/CCNP Collaboration required.
• Experience with Cisco UC Suite and SBCs.
• Strong knowledge of QoS, SIP, and VoIP protocols.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCE, UCCX, CUBE, and SIP trunking.
• Implement voice gateways, dial plans, QoS policies, and SBCs.
• Integrate Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, or other cloud telephony.
• Troubleshoot and provide L2/L3 support for VoIP issues.
• Resolve call routing, latency, jitter, and packet loss in VoIP networks.
• Debug SIP/H.323/MGCP/RTP/RTCP with Wireshark and related tools.
• Provide L3 escalation support for voice incidents and outages.
• Monitor voice quality with SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, IR Prognosis.
• Optimize QoS for voice traffic and plan capacity upgrades.
• Ensure security measures (TLS, SRTP) and PCI/HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with network, security, and cloud teams; maintain docs.
• Provide 24/7 network and security support as required.

• Security & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or other regulatory standards (if applicable).
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work with network, security, and cloud teams for cross-functional projects.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and change management records.
• Provide 24/7 network and security support as required.

Mandatory

• Cisco UC Suite (CUCM, CUC, UCCX, CUBE, IMP)

• Voice Gateway Configuration (ISDN, PRI, FXO/FXS, SIP Trunking)
• QoS for Voice (DSCP, LLQ, AutoQoS)
• Experience with Cisco Jabber, Webex, and MRA deployments.
• Troubleshooting with Wireshark, RTMT, etc.

• Session Border Controllers (AudioCodes, Oracle SBC, Cisco CUBE)
• Basic Networking (VLANs, Routing, Firewall ACLs for VoIP)
• Manage UCS Server with patching
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, design, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment with high self-motivation.
• A customer-focused mindset with strong delivery service ethics.
• Good understanding of Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Willingness to work in a 24/6 support window.
• Good understanding of the ITSM processes.
